Age 8 or Younger
Hello. This is a special section for kids your age. It contains
activities for you to do that might help you sort out your feelings.
There are also some really good books you might like to read or
have someone read to you that we have found helpful to other children
who have had someone close to them die.
Just remember, grief is different for everyone. There are no right
or wrong ways for you to feel.
 Activities
When you come to The WARM Place on your group night, you will
meet other children your age who have also had someone very close
to them die. At each meeting there is a planned activity for your
group which may include: making sock puppets, memorial balloons, design-a-mugs,
memory boxes or dream catchers. You might also paint a special memory
rock or shell or draw pictures. We also read books and play games.
