A Place for Grieving Children & Their Families • Today is

Age 9 - 12

Hello. This is a special section for kids your age. It contains activities for you to do that might help you sort out your feelings. There are also some good books you might like to read that we have found helpful to other children who have had someone close to them die.

Just remember, grief is different for everyone because we are all unique. There are no right or wrong ways for you to feel.

Activities
When you come to The WARM Place on your group night, you will meet other children your age who have also had someone very close to them die. At each meeting there is a planned activity for your group which may include: making memory bottles, button hearts, memory bracelets, dream catchers or medicine wheels. You might also paint memory rocks or draw pictures or play games.
