Volunteering at The WARM Place has been the greatest gift I have received.

I am so lucky — my life is so blessed.

My happiest day —I got lucky for my placement and ended up at The WARM Place.

Training brought out all the feelings I was holding in.

The little children have taught me more about life than I ever imagined. They are so honest.

People here are real. We have found a whole new family of friends who care about us.

I look forward to my time here every two weeks. Even though I am here as a houseparent in the kitchen, it is a privilege to be in this house and around these special families.

Being at The WARM Place has helped me with my relationships outside of here.

There is no greater joy than watching children’s eyes change after being here. The sadness turns to enjoying life again.

I wanted to send a little note to tell you Thank You for giving me the opportunity to volunteer at The WARM Place. It has been such a great experience for me and I will always have the wonderful memories that I have made at this great house. I am excited that I will get to stay on the sub list and hopefully when my school schedule allows, I will be able to move back to a permanent night.

Thank you again and I think that The WARM Place gives a lot of hope to the families and facilitators lives it touches. I know that it touched mine!
