Your registration does not guarantee your shirt/size. The best way to ensure that you get a proper fitting shirt is to take advantage of the multiple days of packet pick up. Shirts and sizes are not guaranteed after February 13th.
Q: How do I register for the Race 2 Remember Them?
Online – Online registration closes Thursday, February 28th at 11:59pm. If you choose to pick up your packet prior to the race, your packet pick-up location is The WARM Place at 809 Lipscomb St. Fort Worth, TX 76104. You can pick it up beginning at 8:00 am on Wednesday, February 27th through Friday, March 1nd. *See complete schedule below.
Race Day –You can register race day in the early morning. Registration begins at 6:30 am. Please plan on additional time if you choose race day registration. Early arrival ensures you won’t miss the race start. If you register on race day, there is no guarantee of shirt, size, bib, or chip. Timed registration will end at 7:45 am.
Q: Where do I pick up my packet?

Q: Can someone else pick up my packet?
Yes. The person picking up the packet(s) will need the participant’s name. When picking up the packet there will be a list of names with bib numbers displayed. That is all that is needed.
Q: Is the 1 Mile Fun Run/walk a separate event or distance?
Yes, the 1 Mile Fun Run/walk is a separate event. The cost is $20.00 per participant regardless of age. Parents who register for the 5K or the 10K may accompany their child(ren) in the 1 Mile Fun Run/walk for free. This run is not a timed event.
Q: Can I walk?
Yes, we have lots of walkers. All walkers MUST start at the back of the pack to allow the competitive runners to start the race.
Q: Can I bring my dog?
Yes, well-trained and friendly dogs may be registered at a cost of $10. Dogs must remain on leashes (max. 3 ft.) Owners maintain responsibility for their pets. *Please see Dog/Stroller Policy at bottom of page.
Q: Is skating or cycling allowed?
No, because they travel at a higher speed, for the safety of others, rollerblades, Heelys, roller skates, scooters and bicycles are not allowed in the Race 2 Remember Them.
Q: Can I use my own chip for timing?
No. All chips are assigned to bib numbers for the race. Chips will be picked up during packet pick up or on race day beginning at 6:30 am. Timed registration will end at 7:45 am on race day.
Q: Is there assistance available if I can’t do the whole course?
Yes, we have police officers patrolling the course. If you need assistance, just ask a volunteer or an officer for help. We also have water stops located on the course.
Q: Are baby strollers allowed?
Absolutely, strollers are welcome but please be mindful of competitive runners. Don’t forget to register your child so they can have an official race shirt and number. A great family photo opportunity! Children in strollers must be registered and will be charged the 1 Mile Fun Run/walk fee of $20.*Please see Dog/Stroller Policy at bottom of page.
Q: Are there concessions available?
The Race 2 Remember Them will provide water for our participants at no charge. Other vendors and sponsors often provide additional complimentary refreshments such as coffee, fruit, and yogurt.
Q: What if it rains or snows? Will you still have the R2RT?
In general, no matter what the weather, the R2RT will go on! Only severe lightning will delay the event. Our paramount concern is the safety of our participants.
Q: What happens to the proceeds from the R2RT?
Proceeds from the Race 2 Remember Them benefit The WARM Place.
The WARM Place mission is to provide year-round grief support services to children ages 3 ½ to 18 and their families, as well as young adults ages 19-25, who have experienced the death of a loved one.
Families are never charged a fee for services, there are no geographical limitations, and no time limits - families are welcome to participate as long as the children are receiving benefit from the program.
Q: Where do I park when I get to the R2RT?
Parking is available at the Acme Plaza parking lots, volunteers will be helping direct parking. We encourage participants to carpool if possible. Handicap parking will be available.
Q: Does it cost more to be chip timed?
No. Chip timing is included in your registration fee.
All dogs, strollers and Walkers MUST remain mindful of competitive runners. Please keep all dogs to a maximum 3 foot leash. Runners are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs. Dogs must be well-trained and friendly.
