Help a child who is grieving find hope.
Volunteers at The WARM Place serve as companions for children and families along their grief journeys, and we couldn’t do it without them. Help children find hope and healing through one of our rewarding volunteer opportunities.
"Being able to see a child go from being quiet, confused, sad, broken to confident, better understanding of their feelings, happy, and has gained coping skills to continue their grief journey is heartwarming."

Group Facilitator
Every year, The WARM Place is able to serve hundreds of children and their families thanks to our incredible volunteers. As a Facilitator, you’ll lead grief support groups for children, including discussions, journaling, arts and crafts, and other activities that can help children on their grief journeys.
The WARM Place provides training for Volunteer Facilitators multiple times a year.
Each training consists of four sessions and all are required.

Houseparent
Our Houseparent volunteers help make The WARM Place a home. In this role, you’ll help create a welcoming, warm environment for children attending group sessions, including greeting families and helping during potluck dinners.
Other Volunteer Opportunities
The WARM Place hosts Family Nights and numerous fundraising events throughout the year. Volunteers play an important role in helping these events succeed, and we also welcome individuals who would like to assist with special projects and administrative tasks during daytime hours.
