Community Partnership Day

Alcon 28 April 2016

Each year, Alcon has a company-wide day of service and Alcon employees spread out all over Fort Worth giving hours of their time to non-profits that help our community in any number of ways. This year, the ‘Community Partnership Day’ fell on Thursday, April 28th. The WARM Place was honored to be among many worthy organizations that Alcon employees visited.

This group of 10 kind, enthusiastic and cheerful volunteers spent the afternoon helping to organize our craft supplies so that our counselors and facilitators can quickly and easily retrieve the items they need during our grief support activities. These kinds of tasks may seem mundane, but they save our staff hours of effort that they can now spend working on the content of our program.

THANK YOU to Alcon and its employees for visiting The WARM Place and helping us to keep our ducks in a row! We can’t say how much we appreciate it!

If you are interested in organizing a volunteer day for a group you work with please call Natalie at 817-870-2272 (ext.24) or email natalie@thewarmplace.org.
