Our June Family Night was a home run! On Wednesday, June 18, nearly 400 WARM Place family members stepped up to the plate for an unforgettable evening at Globe Life Field as the Texas Rangers faced off against the Kansas City Royals. While the scoreboard may not have read in our favor, the night was still a major win for our families—filled with joy, laughter, and lasting memories.
For many of our families, this was more than just a baseball game—it was an exciting experience, especially for children attending their very first Rangers game! Young fans were thrilled to visit the special kiosk where they received a commemorative certificate and pin to mark the occasion. Add in $1 hot dogs and the friendly (and hilarious!) hot dog-eating competitions, and it’s safe to say the night was a grand slam!
Cheers echoed through the stands, dance moves broke out between innings, and our WARM Place families lit up the jumbotron with their excitement. One of the most heartwarming moments of the night was joining in unison to sing Take Me Out to the Ball Game during the seventh-inning stretch—a classic baseball tradition that brought everyone together in song and spirit.
A huge thank you to the Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation for their generous donation of tickets and for providing our families with such an incredible experience. Your kindness and support gave our WARM Place families a night to remember!
We are so grateful to everyone who helped make this Family Night possible. Your support allows us to continue offering moments of connection and healing to the children and families we serve. We can’t wait to see you at the next one! Click here to see more photos.
Family nights focus on making new memories as a family after a death. We invite the whole family to come together – so you can bring the baby, grandpa, and a friend. Family nights take place six times a year and are always free to attend.
