Workplace Giving

Did you know…more and more businesses, large and small, are emphasizing the importance of corporate social responsibility. Lots of companies encourage their employees to improve society by giving to the charity of their choice, and even offer programs to make it simple!

  • Payroll Deduction: Your employer may allow you to donate through payroll deduction for a recurring or one-time gift. Once you set it up, the donation is automatic. What could be easier?
  • Match Donations: In addition to payroll deduction, many companies will also match your donation…meaning your impact for good is even greater!
  • Volunteer Grants: Some employers also offer volunteer grants in which they give money to a nonprofit based on the number of hours the employee volunteered for that nonprofit. You give of your time, and your employer rewards your generous spirit – a real win-win.

And workplace giving is not just for the corporate world. If you are a federal employee, you can contribute through the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC), and state workers have the State Employee Charitable Campaign (SECC).

So many workplaces make it easy and rewarding to give. Check with your employer today to see how you can make a difference!
