Heart Pillows

At the start of every group session at The WARM Place, the children sit in a circle on the floor with the facilitators and pass around a heart-shaped pillow. On their turn, they say who died in their life, and how they died. This routine of saying what happened out loud to others who have similar experiences is a vital part of the grief support process. Here are two children’s notes mentioning this precious time.
