Last week we rolled into the last family night of the summer! Children and families had a blast at Rollerland West in Fort Worth on Friday, August 25th. We had over 200 people in attendance, with plenty of AC to be enjoyed by all! In 2022 we hosted a family night at the skating rink for the first time and simply knew it would not be the last!
Some of the children clearly arrived with the purpose of skating the night away, as they walked in with personal blades in hand. Others came to watch the fun, while most parents and guardians enjoyed pizza and hoped everyone stayed vertical for the evening!
As a belated birthday nod to The WARM Place, having celebrated 34 years just the day before on August 24th, we had cookies and brownies for everyone to enjoy with their pizza dinner.
Family nights take place every other month and focus on making new memories as a family after a death. We invite the whole family to come together – so you can bring the baby, grandpa, and a friend. Family Nights are also open to past, present and future families of The WARM Place. We are so excited to welcome children and families for our next Family Night in October – stay tuned for more details!
